The Salute to Spouses scholarship program offers military spouses an opportunity to advance their education and become more competitive in the modern job market.
Salute to Spouses scholarships are for online degree programs at Bryant & Stratton College.
“Bryant & Stratton College Online is pleased to announce that Sarah Finlay is a Salute to Spouses scholarship recipient,” said Scott Traylor, Associate Campus Director for Online Education at Bryant & Stratton College. “As a military spouse, Sarah gives so much in support of our troops, so we are honored to support her.”
Salute to Spouses will award eligible military spouses scholarships totaling up to $600 (for part-time students) or $1,200 (for full-time students) per semester for online degree programs offered by Bryant & Stratton College. The maximum scholarship award a recipient can receive is $6,000.
Bryant & Stratton College Online launched the Salute to Spouses scholarship program in March 2010 after the Department of Defense suspended the Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts program (MyCAA). While MyCAA has since resumed, Bryant & Stratton College Online continues to offer Salute to Spouses scholarships to eligible military spouses.
To qualify, applicants must have a copy of their spouse’s orders, a copy of their marriage certificate and a high school diploma (or equivalent). Scholarship recipients must meet Bryant & Stratton College scholarship eligibility requirements, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must stay enrolled semester to semester. More information, including the application form, is available at www.SaluteToSpouses.com.
