A local Air Force wife, Sarah Finlay, has received a $6,000 Salute to Spouses Scholarship offered by Bryant & Stratton College Online. She's pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Health Services Administration.
Bryant & Stratton College Online launched the Salute to Spouses Scholarship program in March 2010 and to date more than 50 scholarships have been awarded to military spouses.
This spring the College expanded Salute to Spouses, making it an education and career resource website (www.SaluteToSpouses.com) written and edited by military spouses, in addition to being home of the scholarship program (military spouses interested in the scholarship can still apply - applications are accepted on an on-going basis).
Bryant & Stratton College is a 155 year-old regionally accredited career college with 17 campuses in four states, as well as online programs. Also worth noting, last fall G.I. Jobs Magazine named Bryant & Stratton College Online a 2011 Military Friendly School.
As a member of the Service members Opportunities College (SOC) consortium, Bryant & Stratton College is also an approved institution for the training of U.S. veterans and their family in accordance with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Bryant & Stratton College Online is CLEP, DANTES, ECE and other SOC Colleges approved.
